Good to Be Back

We're back! It was wonderful to see all the children again and hear all about their holidays at the morning meeting – we even got treated to a mini fossil presentation!

A version of Whisper Chain was played in foreign languages, with words like pomodoro, fromage and gamsahamnida being passed around, followed by musical chairs. One boy worked tirelessly at the craft table, adjusting his airplane's aerodynamics until he was satisfied with how it flew. And there was real joy in playing card games and counting up the points at the end. A ball was kicked around the field.

In forest school, conkers from near and far horse chestnut trees were used to make conker people (one in elaborate clothing, one to start an army, others for the process), smashed for a laundry liquid, two types of spinning fidget and a couple of conker creatures!

We're open on Tuesdays, 9:30am–3:30pm, at a sports club in Lee (SE12 8UF). The daily fee is £55.
