As we said goodbye to two siblings moving to another country this week, their dad left a beautiful note:

"Our family was part of the Children's Village community for nearly two years. It is such a beautiful space for young people of all ages to be together surrounded by love and generosity where they are supported to be themselves and do the things they love.

The team are wonderful, generous, loving, and patient beings who have such a deep respect and understanding for young people and child-led growing.

As we leave the UK, we're very sad to say goodbye!"

We meet on Tuesdays, 9:30am–3:30pm, at a sports club in Lee (SE12 8UF). Children's Village is about connection, communication and creativity — plus projects, trips and fairs. This week the children baked cookies, crafted, made a film and played lots of football. It's £55 per child per day.
