Hello! Are you passionate about creating a fun and caring environment for children? Our self-directed, consent-based community in Stockwell for young people aged 6-12 is looking for an enthusiastic facilitator trainee. If you believe in respectful, authentic, and joyful engagement with children and enjoy collaborating with a team, we're excited to hear from you.

About Us: Our community is built around the values of self-directed learning, learning through play, developing intrinsic motivation, meeting children’s needs through a gentle approach, and maintaining a balance between safety and calculated risk-taking.

Role Description: As a facilitator trainee, you'll spend most of your time outdoors, ensuring kids are safe and happy in the adventure playground, and offering support in case of conflicts. Your role includes participating in the facilitation of both individual and group projects within the playground and assisting the main facilitators with various daily tasks.

Key Details:

Start Date: Immediate start with flexibility for the right candidate.

Schedule: Fridays, 9am-3pm, term time only.

Duration: Until at least 12th July, with the possibility of extension from September.

Compensation: Volunteer position. Please note that this is a role for one adult only; unfortunately, we cannot accommodate bringing children to the sessions.
